NDIS

Psychologists can assist in addressing mental health challenges, developing coping strategies, and improving overall well-being. Additionally, they can conduct assessments to better understand the participant's cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning, helping to inform and guide personalized interventions and support plans within the context of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Standard Consult is charged to your NDIS plan according to NDIS price guidelines.

Assessments

Belhaven Psychology offers a comprehensive range of assessments covering ADHD, Autism, Intelligence, PTSD, personality disorders etc. These assessments serve diverse purposes, such as supporting cases under Workcover, providing evidence for court proceedings, aiding schools in placing children in appropriate support units or with teacher's aids, and fostering personal self-understanding.

The pricing structure for each assessment varies based on the specific scheme or context in which it is utilized. During your initial consultation, we will thoroughly discuss the details of the assessments, ensuring transparency and addressing any questions or concerns you may have regarding the charges associated with the assessment process.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is a form of counseling that helps partners improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their relationship. It focuses on enhancing relationship dynamics and providing tools for healthier interactions.

Workcover

Psychology can assist Workcover recipients by providing therapy to address work-related stress, trauma, or mental health issues. Psychologists can support individuals in coping with workplace challenges, facilitating recovery, and helping them navigate the psychological impact of workplace injuries. Additionally, psychological assessments may be conducted to understand the individual's mental health status, contributing to effective rehabilitation and return-to-work plans tailored to the needs of Workcover recipients.

Standard Consult is charged to your insurer. AHRR's will be completed after the initial consult, and every 8 sessions thereafter.

Forensic Reports

Psychologists contribute to court cases by offering expert testimony, conducting forensic assessments, and providing insights into human behavior. They play roles in mitigation in criminal cases, victim impact assessments, conflict resolution, and risk assessments. Psychologists bring scientific perspectives that enhance the court's understanding of mental health and human behavior, influencing decisions related to sentencing, child custody, and overall case dynamics.

Standard therapy sessions are charged at $150 with a $92.90 rebate if you have a MHCP. Court appearances, court reports and other contributions can be negotiated.
